Spain Primera Division: Barcelona and PSV Eindhoven Have Agreed Terms For Netherlands International Ibrahim Afellay

The agent of the playe, Rob Jansen has admitted that PSV and Barcelona have agreed terms for the January transfer of the midfielder.

After weeks of discussions regarding a deal, the two clubs have apparently settled on a price for the 24 years old playmaker, but the Dutch international, who was in the Netherlands squad for EURO 2008 and 2010 World Cup has not yet agreed to personal terms with Barca.

Recently speaking on the subject, Afellay admitted that a move to join Barca was close, but also explained that there were still some things that needed to be settled.

I am honoured by the interest of a big club like Barcelona and of course I am willing to make the switch in January. But not everything is finalised, it’s an ongoing process. We can’t speak of an agreement yet, I wait patiently on that matter,” he explained.
